our process

Before your session, I’ll check in with you (or a parent) to finalize the location(s) and confirm the time. While I do my best to keep your scheduled date, sometimes the weather has other plans—but don’t worry, I have a few covered locations just in case!

When it comes to what to wear, I recommend solid colors and avoiding prints or logos—this helps keep the focus on you and highlights your natural beauty!
For the ladies, I highly encourage treating yourself to professional hair and makeup—I have some great resources to help, and trust me, you’ll love your little "day of beauty"!
And for the guys—if it’s been a while since your last trim, a quick visit to the barber can make all the difference. We want to capture the best version of you!

If you noticed, I likely scheduled your session in the evening—that’s because it’s Golden Hour, the magical time 1-2 hours before sunset when the lighting is soft, warm, and absolutely stunning! Lighting is everything, and I want you to look your absolute best!

I totally understand if you're feeling a little nervous—I’ve been there too! But don’t worry, I’ll guide you through flattering, natural poses that will make you feel confident and amazing.

As for your photos, my turnaround time varies depending on the season, typically between 10 days to a month—but I always try to give you a sneak peek the same day! So make sure we’re connected on social media so I can tag you (and/or your parents) in your first look!
