our process

 Before your session, I’ll check in with you to finalize the location(s) and confirm the time. While I do my best to keep everything as planned, sometimes weather can be a factor, but I have a few covered locations just in case!

For your clothing, I recommend solid colors—no prints or logos—so we can focus on your family’s beautiful faces and features!
For the ladies, I highly encourage treating yourself to some professional hair and makeup—I have some great resources to share, and you’ll love how it makes you feel on your "day of beauty!"
And for the guys—if it’s been a while since your last trim, maybe swing by the barber so we can capture you looking your best!

If you noticed, I likely scheduled your session in the evening—that’s because it’s Golden Hour, the magical time 1-2 hours before sunset when the lighting is soft, warm, and absolutely stunning! Lighting is everything, and I want you to look your absolute best!

I totally understand if you're feeling a little nervous—I’ve been there too! But don’t worry, I’ll guide you through flattering, natural poses that will make you feel confident and amazing.

As for your photos, my turnaround time varies depending on the season, typically between 10 days to a month—but I always try to give you a sneak peek the same day! So make sure we’re connected on social media so I can tag you (and/or your parents) in your first look!
